Comparing Estimates

Questions to ask when comparing estimates.

It is wise to get several different visual estimates, unless you have a moving company that comes highly recommended.

DO NOT JUST CHOOSE THE CHEAPEST OPTION!

Compare your estimates:

• What services are included in each estimate?
• Is the weight in each estimate comparable?
• If applicable, are the packing charges similar?
• What valuation converage is included?
• Does the inventory match what is in your home?
• Is the price guaranteed?
• Do the estimate dates match your moving date?

It is a red flag if there are major discrepancies between estimates.
